Your journey to Bhutan begins with a Druk Airways flight, which is known for its breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Whether you're flying in from Kathmandu or Kolkata, the flight offers a mesmerizing aerial experience as you pass along the Himalayan range or over the foothills. Upon arrival at Paro airport, you will go through immigration and customs formalities. Bhutan has its unique procedures for welcoming visitors, and you'll be assisted through these processes. After completing the arrival procedures, you will be warmly received by our representative. They will assist you with your luggage and transfer you to your hotel in Paro. Once you've settled into your hotel, take some time to acclimate to the new surroundings. In the evening, explore Paro by taking a stroll around the town's main street. After your exploration, return to your hotel in Paro for an overnight stay.

Start your day with an exciting excursion to one of Bhutan's most iconic landmarks, Taktsang Monastery, often referred to as the Tiger's Nest. Legend has it that Guru Rinpoche, the father of Bhutanese Mahayana Buddhism, arrived here on the back of a tigress and meditated in this stunning monastery. After a challenging hike, you'll reach the monastery, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. It was severely damaged by a fire in 1998 but has since been meticulously restored to its original grandeur. Following your visit to Taktsang Monastery, return to Paro for lunch, where you can savour delicious Bhutanese cuisine. After lunch, explore Ta Dzong, which now serves as the National Museum of Bhutan. Inside, you'll find a captivating collection of ancient Bhutanese art, artefacts, weaponry, and a display of the country's exquisite postage stamps. Continue your day by walking down the trail to visit Rinpung Dzong. This fortress monastery is perched at a commanding height, providing magnificent views of Paro Valley.

 In the evening, experience the local way of life by visiting a traditional Bhutanese farmhouse. This cultural encounter will give you insights into the daily life, customs, and traditions of the local people. Then return to your hotel in Paro for an overnight stay. Reflect on the day's adventures and the rich cultural and natural heritage you've experienced in Paro.

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at your hotel in Paro, preparing for your journey to Punakha. After breakfast, drive approximately 18 km from Paro to the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong. This historic fortress holds significance as it was the site where Bhutanese forces successfully repelled several Tibetan invasions during the 17th century. Next, visit Kichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan's oldest and most sacred temples. It symbolizes the introduction of Buddhism to Bhutan and is a testament to the country's rich spiritual heritage.  Continue your journey towards Punakha by driving across Dochula Pass, which stands at an elevation of 3,050 meters. Arrive in Punakha, which served as the capital of Bhutan until 1955 and remains the winter seat of Je Khenpo, the Chief Abbot of Bhutan. Visit Punakha Dzong, a magnificent fortress built in the 17th century at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. 

In the evening, explore the local market in Punakha, where you can experience the vibrant culture and possibly pick up some souvenirs.  Spend the night at your hotel in Punakha, relishing the serenity and beauty of this historic valley.

Begin your day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Punakha, preparing for the day's journey. After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Wangduephodrang. This town is the last in the western region of Bhutan before you reach the central part of the country. Wangdue is a quintessential Bhutanese town, and its most prominent feature is its formidable dzong (fortress). Enjoy a satisfying lunch in Wangduephodrang. After lunch continue your journey to Thimphu, the charming capital city of Bhutan. Nestled in the heart of the Himalayas, Thimphu is known for its unique blend of modernity and tradition. After reaching Thimphu, take some time to explore the city's main street, lined with shops adorned in traditional Bhutanese style. You can relax at your hotel, explore more of Thimphu, or simply unwind and take in the serene surroundings. Spend the night at your hotel in Thimphu, immersing yourself in the unique ambience of Bhutan's capital.

Begin your day with a visit to Trashichhodzong, an impressive fortress monastery located on the banks of the Wang Chhu River. It serves as the home to the National Assembly and is the summer residence of the revered monastic community in the capital. The dzong's design was revamped by the Third King, HM Jigme Dorji Wangchuck when he relocated Bhutan's permanent capital to Thimphu. Near the Thangkha Painting School, you'll find Bhutan's National Library, which houses one of the most extensive collections of religious and historic literature in the Himalayas.  Explore the Textile and Folk Heritage Museum, established in 2001. It provides valuable insights into Bhutanese material culture and the living traditions of its people. Visit the Memorial Chhorten, an important landmark in Thimphu built in 1974 by the mother of the Third King. Later return to your hotel in Thimphu for an overnight stay, surrounded by the cultural richness and charm of Bhutan's capital.

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at your hotel in Thimphu, preparing for your journey to Phuentsholing. En route to Phuentsholing, visit Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress in the Kingdom, built-in 1627. This historic site now houses the School for Buddhist Studies. Explore the ancient architecture and the cultural significance of this fortress. Continue your journey on the Thimphu/Phuentsholing Road, which was constructed in 1962 by Dantak, the Indian Border Road Organization. Just before reaching Phuentsholing, visit Kharbandi Goemba, a monastery built in 1967. Inside, you'll find large and striking statues of Sakyamuni, Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, and Guru Rinpoche. Arrive in Phuentsholing and check into your hotel for an overnight stay. Phuentsholing, located on the southern border of Bhutan, serves as an important gateway between Bhutan and India.
